Ráðek Skell is the recognized authority within Rauði Anvarr. He holds no formal title and does not derive his position from law or lineage. His authority is based on acceptance, precedent, and continued survival. Within Nifleheim, he determines when Rauði Anvarr intervenes and who is permitted to face it.

Status and Authority

Ráðek Skell has no clan affiliation and is not part of any governing structure. His role is acknowledged by the Jarl of Nifleheim, the clans, and Rauði Anvarr itself. His authority is not permanent. It is sustained only while he continues to meet the expectations of Rauði Anvarr. There is no formal succession. If he is replaced, it will occur through recognition rather than appointment.

Appearance

Ráðek Skell is a large Skarnn man with extensive physical scarring. His hair and beard are iron-gray and worn without styling. His body shows evidence of repeated injury and recovery, including fractures, blade wounds, and ritual markings associated with Rauði Anvarr. He wears layered hides and hardened leather suited for exposure to cold environments. His equipment is functional and heavily worn.

Role in Rauði Anvarr

Ráðek Skell determines when Rauði Anvarr will engage in a conflict and who may participate. He does not issue commands in a conventional structure. His presence confirms that an engagement is valid. His intervention indicates that it is concluded.
